He isn't a great player, but he is a much better 2nd ruck than any alternative.Nichevo. Let them make a mistake for a change.Quote of Napoleon: 'Never interrupt an enemy when he'd making a mistake'.I believe he was seen doing fitness tests earlier in the week, so maybe he is carrying an injury.Rain predicted tonight. Cox is about as useful as a light pole in the wet, and they have plenty of size in the front half with McStay, Membrey and Mihochek. McStay will 2nd ruck. Quote Selected

Id rather we fight it out and try and win but its a tough ask looking at both teams selected... Quote Selected

Us to get away to an early lead, and them to reel us in, kicking a sealer at the death probably via the usual suspects.Daicos brothers to have a day out. Pendles and Sidebottom best game of the season.Membrey will kick 3, Elliot 3, even Schulz loves a goal against us, pencil him in for 2, and from memory McStay has a great record against us too, so expect him to kick a couple along with Mihocek who normally doesnt blank against us either. McReary will bully most of our younger players, their mids will likely have a day out too, and Moore will intercept all our errant forward entries for most of the game too easily. TDK will have his hands full with Cameron. Maynard to do his bullying best and maim someone halfway through the second quarter sparking the come back. You know, I made a topic about who lifts us when we are down. One thing the pies have in every position is a player thats capable of finding a way to impact the game right when its in the balance. Consider a close loss a win tonight, because we are not travelling well, and these guys are coming off the bye. Quote Selected

As much as I hope we win...I'd cop a close loss. The one thing we can't afford is a total capitulation. One that indicates the players may have lost the faith. Quote Selected

However......Let's consider a best case scenario for us. What we've been working hard at, and nearly succeeding, finally does click into place and our offensive game delivers reward for effort which is reflected on the scoreboard. And Walshy, Doc, Acres... and a couple of others finally find form. Then Charles hits his straps and kicks 6. Kemp continues with his good form and kicks another 5. Add to that TDK resting forward and kicking a couple along with small forwards (finally) chipping in with a few. In other words, we deliver on our potential and kick a winning score and hold them to a losing score. Quote Selected 1 Likes
