Jim Park Voting 2025 AFL Rd 3 Carlton vs Western Bulldogs

Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

AFL Rd 3:   Carlton vs Western Bulldogs
So near, and yet so far. We struggle to run out games at the moment, but things, again, didn’t go our way. Alas, at the moment we are not good enough to deal with that.
Rating:      C+
We probably deserved to win, but we couldn’t put it away when it mattered.

Votes:
[2]   Brodie Kemp
[2]   Jacob Weitering
[2]   Jack Silvagni
[2]   Tom de Koning
[2]   George Hewett
[1.5]   Adam Cerra
[1]   Sam Walsh
[0.5]   Adam Saad
[0.5]   Lewis Young
[0.5]   Charlie Curnow
[0.5]   Lachie Fogarty
[0.5]   Nick Haynes

Explanations:
[2]   Brodie Kemp:      Probably his best game for us, he not only kicked 5 goals, he was always a target and he kicked straight.
[2]   Jacob Weitering:   Beat Darcy comfortably and should never have been penalized with that free. Darcy got kicks, but that was when he was in the ruck.
[2]   Jack Silvagni:      A brilliant defensive game, keeping a good opponent totally out of the play.
[2]   Tom de Koning:   Probably beaten in the ruck battles, Tom nevertheless was solid in taking marks, getting kicks and clearances.
[2]   George Hewett:   An excellent game. 27 possessions, 9 tackles and 8 clearances.
[1.5]   Adam Cerra:      A very solid game with 26 possessions, 4 tackles and 8 clearances.
[1]   Sam Walsh:      A much improved game, but still nowhere near his best. 26 possessions, 3 tackles and 5 clearances.
[0.5]   Adam Saad:      A solid Saad game.
[0.5]   Lewis Young:      A much improved game by Lewis Young. He drifted out of the game, but he did some really nice thing as a forward. Pity his ruck work was not so good.
[0.5]   Charlie Curnow:   Charlie was dominant until he tired. No surprise, considering his pre-season, but it hurt us when he was less effective.
[0.5]   Lachie Fogarty:   His first half was excellent. Alas, he also tired and he couldn’t kick a goal.
[0.5]   Nick Haynes:      After a disastrous start, Haynes has picked up considerably.

Honourable Mentions:
Patrick Cripps:      Cripps wasn’t at his dominating best and he struggled with injury. He still managed 21 possessions with 8 tackles and 6 clearances. Just shows you how good his good games really are.
Jordan Boyd:      Came on when Williams went off and was more than serviceable.
Zac Williams:      Look dangerous until he was hurt.
