Yet people will continue to support him and find anything they can to defend this crook.

Again he just continues to take any accountability for anything he has ever done - that alone sums the guy up.

His long tentacles reached out to those in higher places to protect him and his wife that day and shows you what can be achieved when you hold a powerful position in this country. Disgusting.

The News article link gives me a "Page Not Found" error, so I can't read it. I suspect it would be a hopelessly biased version of the ABC article. Either way, their style of news reporting, over decades, is embarrassing. News clearly cannot stand a successful Labor Premier who doesn't kiss their ar$e.

The ABC article seems to indicate that Andrews foreshadowed the advice that he was inevitably about to receive, and acted proactively. I don't see anything terribly wrong there.

I don't have an opinion on the bike accident. Too much information lacking, and too much he said she said. I don't see how anyone can follow the data.

Last article is about his mrs and not his governing.

Second article doesn't link.

First article is about how he 'used powers' without 'medical advice'.......or at least before medical advice had come through officiall channels.

It does NOT say what he did went against medical advice, nor does it say what he did was wrong.
Its all about the timing of it.
Technically, he may have jumped the gun before official channels confirmed proper course of action.
Alternatively, if he took too long to act, he would've been criticised for that as well.

Seems like perfect timing to release this kind of mud-slinging stuff right before election.

Time to move on people, this is from 5 years ago now!

Well, the cyclist's former lawyers couldn't follow the data as they've reached a settlement with him for apparently bungling the case.  They were obviously part of the conspiracy too  ::)

A bit harsh EB, do you think he was corrupt or just liked to dictate and rule his way? From a leadership perspective I see similarities between him and Kennett.

GTC I see him as corrupt, doesnt have any memory on missing money or who signed for what, happy to throw his own ministers under the bus to save his own hide and you have respected identities like ex Police chief Kel Glare calling the Andrews Govt the most corrupt he has seen in his lifetime. How many investigations did the Anti-corruption Commission have into the Andrews government four or five?
He was a great Dictator/Politician for sure and wrote the playbook for how to survive as a corrupt leader mainly thanks to such an inept Opposition but he has totally fecked Victoria and got away with it and to see him feted as some CoVid hero makes me want to vomit...

Dan wanted to be President Xi and wanted to make Victoria into China. I'm glad to see the back of him.

But, no matter who governs, Victoria is going to take a long time recovering.

I just noticed that number plates identify Victoria as the "Education State".

What a joke.  More accurate options would include "Bankrupt State", "Lawless State" and "Socialist State".

Any other suggestions?

I doubt anyone, God included, could make Trump look respectable, he dwells at the wrong altitude.

When views oppose everybody wants the detail, but when accusations align with political beliefs it seems the detail can be further away than a RedTrump gimme putt! ;D

Everybody should strive to be consistent, to hold people to high standards apply it equally to all from any perspective. When people start making exceptions or become plastic in assessment this is what will cause disputes and deliver opportunities to those who are corrupt. The USA is learning this lesson harder than anyone before!

Yeah forgot about the "I dont recall" line he and all his chronies trotted out during the covid f-up investigation. How can so many investigations not uncover anything substantial? We criticise other countries and ours is just as bad if not worse.
