Re: Happy New Year 2024

Well said Thry, perspective is everything and when times are tough, it's always sobering to pause and think about the fact that there are always those in a worse predicament than ourselves. I wish your friends wife a full recovery and if that needs a miracle, so be it. 2023 was crappola for our family, my 16 year old nephew was diagnosed with Lymphoma but fortunately, in 2024 he has made a full recovery. His Dad however, my brother 6 years younger than me, had a heart attack last week and had to have a stent put in. He needs another one installed in 6 weeks. The silly boy is very luck as he ignored all the symptoms for months so he is very lucky he went to hospital when he did or we'd not be celebrating Xmas in the right way. Ive had no issues in the regards despite being horribly unfit and way overweight but I am getting some tests done as a precaution and aim to do something about the too many kegs Im carrying. Amongst all that and a crap year with my football team, I became a grandfather for the first time in September and my wife got her new knee on Sat (coming home tomorrow).
So in 2025? I expect nothing less than Premiership no 17, another Brownlow for Crippa and a Coleman Medal for either of Harry, Charlie or both. Too much to ask? Go big or go home.
I wish all of you on here a safe, healthy and happy new year.
Go Blues
