One of the very last of a capital L Labor, left wing, socially committed breed, before that New Labor / neo-liberal nonsense took over and darkened the horizon for good.

One thing about Bill was his determination to eschew obfuscation.

Today’s bunch could learn from his openness and honest responses to questions.

RIP. One of the guys I thought would have made a real difference for the better of the people he would have served.
