Mimi Hill extends until 2027, which is huge for us.

It's great to lock Mimi away but it's also part of a trend towards longer deals for the AFLW girls.  Good to see us taking advantage of the move to multi-year contracts.

Its been a long time coming. Up til the last 12 months or so, you could only give 1 and 2 year contracts.

Which is why we've had the eyes picked out of our list and mass exodus of talent playing elsewhere......well, its not the only reason, but it could've been avoided with longer contracts.

Hill, Skepper, Moody, Sherar....all locked in until 2027. Thats a midfield you can build around.
Now to work out the rest.

Jess Dal Pos announced this is her last year and her last match this week.

Wonder if she'll move into coaching. Seems to be very highly rated.

I think that Jess was past her best when she came to us but she showed flashes of brilliance and well-developed footy nous.

I suspect that we will reap the benefits of her time with us in years to come as younger players she may have influenced really hit their straps.

I have no idea about whether she wants to coach or whether she has the ability to coach but I hope she decides to give it a crack.

2 delistings announced today.

Marianna Anthony and Tahlia Read

Neither played a game this year.
Anthony played 6 last year
Read never debuted.

I expect more list changes to come. Not forgetting we've already lost Dal Pos to retirement.
