Why would you drop Big H?

If so, mind boggling....

12.50 with the bookies - that's worth a wager imo!!
Finals, then 4 in a row!

His form has been rubbish.

His form didn't warrant selection, and it hasn't improved.

If we want someone crumbing cheap goals out the back it can be Wright, SPS or Fisher!

More importantly, we are playing at the SCG, a ground where a kick into full forward often comes off the HBF!

He won't take defenders to the contest!

Cripps is sore, expect him to spend more time resting forward.

Playing against Sydney, you need players who chase defensively!

It was either him or Kerr, and Kerr works 300% harder!

Sydney's ruck inventory is decimated, we could ruck Dow and probably win the clearances!

Player management FB?

Harry may benefit from a week off and not trying to fold that huge frame into aircraft seating.

Watching the presser, it seems Silvagni in for McKay??

It sounds like McKay is being "managed" back in the VFL and coming back after the bye.

I'd prefer someone in for O'Shea.

I thought O’Shea was OK against the Cats.

Bolton mentioned that Levi will be back after the bye ????

Agree on OShea , probably his best game in terms of less errors, have heard he is very popular amongst the playing group
and trains very well, maybe that gives him some extra runs on the board when it comes to tight selections....

He's averaging 2 goals a game, he can't be going too badly, and never missed hitting the scoreboard. Last week was his first bad game. Defy any kid to do any good in that congestion last week albeit he was certainly the worst of our 3 forwards. Sounds like he's just going back for the week, if i'm hearing the video right, and coming back after the bye. Of course, if Kerr plays well and Levi is coming back after the bye it might be hard to put him in. In the VFL McKay hit the packs hard so it might be a confidence thing.

Thats how Curnow's career started and Carrots before that. They made lots of mistakes but they trained there asses off and set the standards. Now, Curnow is the most respected and one of the first 2 picked every week (probably second behind Crippa). I guess the problem is when you play in defence like OShea does, and you make mistakes, they are costly and are amplified amongst the faithful.

Even if it was going to be dry I'd go Garlett on the SCG ahead of one of the other talls!

The best way to deal with Franklin is to give him no time and space to get rolling.

Best way to deal with Buddy is make sure it doesnt get down his end of the ground.....if he gets enough opportunities then it doesnt matter who plays on him......
We need another quicker opportunist up forward, Garlett might be handy....

Garlett couldn't get near it in his last few games at afl level. We played Cuningham and Lang as small forwards against the Cats, and neither of them had any influence. SPS went down there a bit as well, and he was clearly the best of them, even though he missed his few opportunities to hit the scoreboard. It is a real weakness at the moment, hopefully Pickett can come back and give us something in that role after the bye
