Federal Budget 2025
I'm not across the Federal Budget this year but I did hear one thing, that "Non-Compete" clauses are to be kyboshed, it's a good thing in my opinion.
Joe Average can't get a Tradie anymore, partly as i understand it because to get work from the big corporate sites Tradie's get forced to sign non-compete clauses, which basically removes them from the market.
The same non-compete methodology is affecting the supply chain, which is bizarre because there are laws against monopolies and cartel type behaviour, yet they still get suppliers to sign non-compete agreements to get access to the big contracts.
