Jarrad Waite has spoken of his excitement and anticipation in returning to the field for the first time in more than nine months, when he lines up for Carlton in this weekend’s NAB Challenge match against West Coast at Leaderville Oval in Perth.
Waite will be joined by Marc Murphy who will also return from injury for the Blues.
It will be Waite’s first appearance since undergoing reconstructive surgery, having damaged his knee against Adelaide at AAMI Stadium in Round 9 last year.

Suffice to say the female Blues supporter has not had a copyright on the question in the four months since the mercurial forward was traded north.
